Welcome to lines of literacy. I will be posting evidence-based literacy ideas for your use and collaboration. I am a reading specialist and instructional coach for Goodhue Public Schools and an adjunct instructor at Concordia University, St. Paul. I am passionate about moving students forward with high impact instruction.
Meet my family: This is my husband Mike. We both have dedicated our careers to educating children. We have two amazing children, Ryan and Reed and are adjusting to being empty nesters.
Ryan (on the right) is a social studies teacher in Wisconsin and is loving every minute of his career. As I talk with Ryan, I am reminded of the time new teachers spend on effective instruction for their students.
My youngest son is Reed (on the left). He is a recent graduate of Loyola University with an English major. He is currently a podcast writer and producer.
Mike and I couldn't be more proud of who are children have become!
